Peter Stolz, Audiovisual Production Specialist
Peter is an audiovisual production specialist who currently works as a video editor for WJLA, ABC-7 News. Growing up in Montgomery County, Peter developed an interest in video production at an early age. When Peter was 10, he borrowed his parents’ video camera to record short films with his cousins and younger brother. Peter went on to study Broadcast Journalism at American University where he landed an internship at NBC news in Washington D.C. Upon graduation, Peter worked for a small cable station called “The American Life TV Network” where he shot, digitized, and edited various video formats.
In 2006 Peter moved to Salisbury, Maryland to work as a videographer for CBS affiliate WBOC. Now at ABC 7, Peter does what he loves most, editing video for the nightly newscasts at WJLA. Peter’s has worked on a wide array of video editing projects, including television shows, news pieces, documentaries, and many family videos. During his free time, Peter applies his unique skill set in converting VHS to DVDs and helping to preserve family memories and legacies for others.
